As you might know I work part time for a design agency called Grid Design. One of the cool thing about working there is that we work with brands that you can see everywhere around in the big cities or find in your local store (in Norway). Now Grid Design has done the redesign of the packaging for the well-known bread brand; Naturlig Sunt, from Bakers. The design is colourful and strong, and will definitely look good in the store shelves! More pics after the jump.

Nacho Carbonell is a hot name at the moment- and with his strange, different and unique works he has made the design industry raise the question on what is design and what is art?  If you have followed this site for a while, you already know that this is a subject I am  passionate abut, and I love the fact that magazines are starting to talk about this. Not only do I like the name Mishmash, but I also like the light-hearted, hand-drawn design for the new sub-brand for Amelia Park Wines.  It is fresh and playful, and although the drawing style is young and modern, it also has an ethnical vibe to it. The colours really differentiate the red from the white wine, and I love the little touch of gold which makes it look exclusive and sophisticated. Design by Glasfurd & Walker.

I’ve been spending the last couple of days renovating my room at our summerhouse, with no Internet connection – so sorry for the lack of posting. The old child room really is transforming into a beautiful and mature bedroom, and I promise to show it to you when it is all done. In the mean time I thought I could show you some other really inspirational interiors. The Swedish photographer Pia Ulin takes really good interior photos, and her pictures really inspire me with its simplicity and strong colours. Take a look after the jump!

As you might have guessed already I got quite excited about the portfolio of Danish Ditte Hammerstrøm. So to prevent my self from filling up all the post on Playmedesign only with her stuff, I have made this summary-post instead. After the jump you will see some of my favorite pieces among her work, and I strongly recommend you to visit her site and to keep an eye on this girl – I hope and believe we will see more furniture’s like this, with character and a personal expression behind it, in the future!
