Peacock Chair


I like it when you can see the inspiration for a product in the end result, and in this chair from Dror Benshetrit you can clearly see his peacock inspiration. He has managed to create a chair for Cappellini avoiding the banal peacock clichés, but still maintaining a certain resemblance. (more…)

Remo Caminada

Remo Caminada recently won the European design award for his packaging for andreas caminada. The pictures of the cute jars has been on almost every designblog, but I think I Remo Caminada also deserve some attention for some other projects as well. In his portfolio we find a lot of posters with stunning use of typography and colors. (more…)

Sliced-bread notebook

A must have for creative people is off course a sketching book and the best ones are small enough to easily take with you everywhere. I adore these cute notebooks with the sliced bread concept. Designbolaget for Moshi Moshi Mind

The Danish design agency Designbolaget recently won the European Design Award 2009 with their design for Moshi Moshi Mind. At first glance I didn’t really see what the fuzz was all about, but when seeing the hole set of products together, even I was convinced that this was the perfect design for a brand like Moshi Moshi Mind with their focus on wellness, relaxation and luxury. Emulsion Paint

Remember that I wrote about the stunning graphical design on the cement bags? Well it is obviously a Greek trend to freshen up the packaging of buildings materials, and here is yet an example; K2DESIGN has designed the dark and seductive graphics on Emulsion Paints boxes. I believe there has been a lack of design on big containers of building materials for a long time, and I am happy to see that the trend has turned around. Maybe it will brighten up the day of the building constructors as well? (more…)
