Snail poop packaging!

dzn_Dejection-moulding-by-Manuel-Jouvin-5 Ok, snails might not be the most delicate food if you think of it as slimy, small animals, but when they are served in the proper way they become the most delicate dish. So for me it seems a little strange that Manuel Jouvin chose to make this packaging for cooked snail out of snail excrements, a material so far away from delicate and exclusive as you might get. In fact, in order to give it the right colour, snails are encouraged to eat coloured paper witch again will give a coloured poop! No doubt it looks good, and I am positively surprised of how the material has transformed into a good-looking packaging.

This is the singularly most disgusting thing I’ve seen in a very long time. I’m glad it’s after breakfast and long before lunch. Maybe I’ll have time to forget I ever saw this before I eat again.

Hahaha, i hope so for your sake Demetrius. The packaging is so wierd, I find my self fascinated and repulsed by it at the same time…

so first we feed the snail colored paper (oh, how would you ‘encourage’ them?) to then use their colored poop?
we could also have a solar panel powering a hair dryer blowing into a wind wheel…

I would encourage them to eat something a bit more durable than paper.
