Type sex with Durex

Skjermbilde 2010-02-21 kl. 10.06.20Here’s another post about the unexpected use of typography. This time it’s a campaign to communicate the joy with Durex, made entirely out of words. I don’t think this is any wear near as well made and funny as the Durex-get it on campaign from last year, but it certainly is a fun use of typography. Diary Type by Vladimir Koncar

788561266256826Sometimes I stumble over things that just make me giggle out loud, and I just couldn’t help to do so, when I saw these crazy hand made typographies from the Croatian designer Vladimir Koncar. So fare he has made Diary Type 01, 02 and 03 that consist of fonts made by unusual materials like tea bags, paper clips, cactus, condoms, rotten apples, toothpicks, gummy bears and raw meet. Be sure to stop by his page at Behance to see all of them, or see my favourites after the jump!

Pixel Flix

Bilde 2Pixel Flix is a digital production and editing company and who recently got some funky business cards designed by the Australian design agency About A Friend Of Mine. The business cards are colourful and vivid. They are neither corporate nor dry, but they still manage to retain a professional look. The font is based on stencils and in three stages you can follow the parts to see how they begin to make sense into the word PIXEL FLIX! (more…)
