I just discovered these amazing silk-printed posters from the Norwegian designer Jacob Lysgaard, and it was love at first sight! I adore how the balance between the black & white photography is mixed with the vivid colours and shapes of the feathers, and the contrast between a photo and hand drawing is just perfect! Take a look at some more pictures after the jump, and be sure to visit Jacob’s site and web shop! I just can’t wait to get this “Indianer” on my wall…

I am currently working on a rally cool styling project that I just can’t wait to show you. But since I am not allowed to reveal any details yet, you simply just have to keep following Playmedesign to see it when its done!
In the mean time; here’s a little treat from the amazing illustrations by Dmitriy Rebus Larin. I especially love his watercolour drawings which are just simply stunning! See more after the jump!

I always keep an eye open for news from the guys over at Anti design agency. I really think they have a unique stile that is dark, refined and innovative. Martin Stousland has made this digital coverart and poster for the release of the Norwegian producer and dj Nils Noa’s single ”Trollveggen”. Love the mix between fashion photography and illustrations. More pics after the jump! (more…)
The Australian design agency Voice has done some amazing labels for Longview vineyard. The designs vary form dark and mysterious, bold and minimal, to light and elegant. I must say that it really seems like Australian design are coming on really strong this year, especially in the fields of packaging, where they are really showing us what they are good for! I am looking forward to seeing more Australian design in the future and in the mean time check out more of the label designs from Voice after the jump!

I cant really put the finger on what it is that makes these drawing stand out for me, maybe its because she almost always includes animals in some ways, or maybe it’s the way her illustrations seems inspired by fashion, Japanese drawing style and art… I just know I really like them!
