Mike and Maaike has designed ATNMBL; a concept vehicle for year 2040 that represents the end of driving and an alternative approach to car design. The “car” has no steering wheel, brake pedal or driver seat but will instead ask you to type in your destination and it gets you there thanks to sophisticated GPS sensors and a navigation database.

I love, love, love the Portuguese furniture company Boco Do Lobo, and I’ve already written about them several times before. Now they’re out with yet another great addition to their Limited Edition- Large Emotions series, and this time it’s a locker called Oporto. I love the details and the amount of work you can see has been put into making this piece, and I believe this ”eye to the details” is what makes Boco Do Lobo stand out in a century where furniture’s often are mass-produces to the lowest price.
Sometimes a product gets hyped up by people around it, or in this case the internet. This simple packaging from Japanese designer Taku Satoh has been on a lot of different design-blogs lately, yet know one knows what it really contains. Some seems to think it contains strawberry milk since when spoken in Japanese, 1-5-3-6-9 sounds like ichigo miruku, which means strawberry milk. Whatever it contains Sakuma Confectionary Co, the brand behind it, has manage to make so much fuzz about keeping the content secret that they have manage to create a packaging already known allover the globe.
