You really don’t need that many reasons to party, but last night ANTI design agency had several… They are a new design studio, with a new location in a really nice space, and they are launching the new jeans concept; Anti Sweden. No need to say the party was off the roof, when the creative’s of Oslo came together to celebrate. Here are some pictures of the new Anti profile as well as the hot, new jeans!
Anti Sweden jeans is a declaration of war to Swedish brands like Acne og Cheap Monday. The design is strongly inspired by black metal, and has some hard core illustrations form Justin Bartlett inside. The first model is called 666 and has a cross up side down in the logo!

The brand new Anti logo.Anti is a multi-disciplinary design agency who works with brand identity, art direction, packaging, print, illustration and interactive design.
I do love a good cup of tea and therefore I found it interesting to see how such an ancient drink adapt to new designs. Or vice versa. One example is this modern moka tea pot, Enso made by Jeff Engelhardt. Making an espresso you heat up water so that the steam rises, passes through the filter with the coffee and becomes a flavourful drink. So why not apply the same technique to tea? After all the riches flavours and nutrition’s are in the steam. I must say I am curious to see how the design functions in real life, heating it up, cleaning it and so on… but overall it looks like an elegant design that has maintained a perfect balance between the traditional and the modern.

I am not a big drinker of vodka, but I would seriously consider buying one of these just so I could have the bottle. I love the clean and retro design from Hans Brindfors, who have created these bottles of classic “laboratory” vodka for Karlssons Vodka. With such an old and classic look the small graphic elements of colours and handwriting just make it all come together into a really nice design!

Jean Yves LeMoigne was awarded as the best photographer of 2008 by CB news magazine. With his series Pixxel he had his big break through in January and his pictures of pixelated women have been all over the Internet and in print at Amusement magazine. I think its time to take a closer look at some of his other works, as they are all stunning and are telling some amazing stories….His images are funny and provocative; they range from unicorn-men living on the streets, pixelated porn, to just simply hilarious bank robbers blinded by their own disguise. Take a look!

Not to long ago I got a mail from a Norwegian guy, saying how much he likes my blog! As mentioned earlier I am a sucker for compliments, so we kept in touch and now it’s my turn to give some compliments back. Remi Juliebø is a graphic designer and illustrator, and last week he did an exhibition in Oslo, as part of by:larm’s Nisjelandet 09. He exhibited some huge canvases inspired by a gigposter mentality, and he also had a limited edition of t-shirts with the same prints on… Great work Remi!
