Catching up with Uredd

Time to catch up on our graphic deign friends in Uredd… So what have they been up to lately? Well, during the summer the art project Generator was arranged in Trondheim and Uredd made the manifest of the project into a book. On top of that they have also made the profile for Mercursenteret, a fashion mall with a youthful and trendy layout. Take a look…

Mercur senteret, check out the HG80.no, a blog uredd made for them

Generator is a book that presents the art project that evolves around 9 artworks in public spaces in Trondheim.

Daniel Loves animal objects!

I found this really great portfolio on Coroflot from a Singapore designer that calls himself Daniel Love. Some of his designs are clearly inspired by nature and animal-life and here you can see some of his animalistic-works. They are fun, smart and practical at the same time!

Over:A chicken bookshelf and a retro futuristic fish tank.

A floor lamp full of chicks standing tall, the body of the birds is the light.

Lamp forbidden fruit; a squirrel struggles to arrive to the floral lamp over the thin branch.

Bound Skarf

Although Iceland might have some economical issues right now, they have absolutely no problems when it comes to good design. Yet another great product form Birkiland is this new scarf that wraps itself around your neck or head in a soft and gentle way. It was first launched in 2003 but will soon be reborn at Birkiland. The design that will keep you warm during the winter is made by Sruli Recht.

Sideways

Sideways is the new chair made for Hâg by the Norwegian design bureau Formel. A new trend in meeting rooms now days is to make meetings less formal and more open and inclusive, and therefore the chair also had to be like that. The integrated armrest, swings behind the back and provides generous support when sitting sideways, and you can also find a comfortable resting position, leaning far back, supported by both elbows.

The design is based on Håg’s principles regarding variation and movement: the next sitting position always is the best one.
