Ninja

I loved watching Ninja Turtles when I was a kid and maybe that’s why I decided to show you this chair. Its called Ninja, and it’s a organic concept for both indoor and outdoor use. It is made in by Delineodesign for Gabe, in tecnopolimero and steel, and it somehow reminds me of the turtle-shell with hidden knifes and swords inside…

The incredible animations of Glenn Marshall

Wow, I am completely magnified by the work of Glenn Marshall! This may be the best visual animations I have seen in a really long time! Glenn Marshall is a film maker, computer artist & soundtrack composer, and I cant even imagine all the work there must be behind his films. It’s really not necessary for me to say anything else: just press more under this post to see several of his films, set it to a full screen and enjoy the ride!

Old beds + belts = containers!

I am a person who tends to collect more stuff than I can actually handle, and therefore I really love these small containers/boxes to putt all my stuff in. Not only are the boxes funky and useful, but they are actually redesigned for the Norwegian Salvation Army, by using the materials from old beds and belts!

Feather Font

Take a look at this beautiful feather typeface, made by Lily Piyathaiere. Inspired by goose biot feathers this font has a soft and poetic touch to it!

CONCRETE #2

So now it is time to show you a good example of a designer who have made some really nice concrete work! The Swedish designer Johan Forsberg uses concrete to make everything from pop art inspired artwork, to floor clocks and even a dart game! The shapes are minimal, the lines are clean and smooth, and the surfaces are raw and beautiful!
